Why I Love this Easy Crazy Crust Pizza recipe!

Easy Crazy Crust Pizza is a quick, inexpensive pizza recipe to feed your family! I make this recipe at least 2-3 times per month. My family loves it and I think your family will love it too!

What I love most about this recipe is, it uses common ingredients I always have on hand. While other pizza crust recipes use yeast or sourdough starters… this crust uses 3 SIMPLE INGREDIENTS! Flour, milk, and eggs are all you need to get this recipe going.

Lets get started!

First, I want you to go preheat your oven to 425 degrees.

In this recipe you will need to use 1 cup of flour. I normally use all-purpose flour. 2 eggs (shout out to my backyard chickens!) and 2/3 cup milk. Mix these 3 ingredients in a bowl. Your crust can be as simple as this… sometimes if I am feeling experimental I will add some garlic powder or Italian seasoning into this mixture. It is totally up to you.

The batter will be VERY THIN, almost like pancake batter. This is normal! Now go find yourself a cookie sheet. I normally use a 12×17 sheet pan. You could go a little smaller, but I don’t recommend going bigger than 12×17. Make sure you grease up your pan good. Or else your crust will stick and nobody wants that!

Now, using a rubber spatula, pour the batter onto the GREASED sheet pan. I know it doesn’t seem like there is enough to cover the entire pan, but trust me! You can spread it all the way across, corner to corner. I like to give my pan a bit of a shake on the counter top to help even things out and remove some air bubbles.

It’s time to stick your crust into the oven. I let it bake for about 15 minutes. It may come out looking very lumpy. Those bubbles are caused by air. You can take a spoon and gently flatten the larger bubbles. Don’t worry too much about them, they will soften up and flatten out when you add the pizza sauce. You’ll notice how one corner of my crust is dark brown? Check on yours a few minutes early if the extra crispy crust bothers you.

The toppings!

This is when you can add your sauce and favorite pizza toppings. I usually use an 8 ounce can of pizza sauce. Some other great ideas would be alfredo sauce, cheese sauce, refried beans (for taco pizza). Use what you love! On this pizza I (or should I say my little helper) added shredded mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.

Once your pizza is covered in your favorite pizza toppings, you can stick it back into the oven for about 5-10 minutes. Just long enough to heat up your toppings and melt the cheese. After cooking, allow to cool for a couple minutes before cutting. I cut fairly large square pieces and end up with 12 slices.
